BUCK: Saturday Morning Cartoon Apocalypse Reset Key

Updated: Dec 8, 2020

About This Game Dust off your VHS player and get ready to go back to the 90's with an old-school, 2D, Action-Adventure game. You play as Buck, a motorcycle garage mechanic who decides to leave everything behind to find the truth behind a girl's disappearance; all while struggling to adjust himself to the harsh, post-apocalyptic future of 1997.Inspired by Biker Mice From Mars, Batman: The Animated Series, Samurai Jack and more - BUCK: Saturday Morning Cartoon Apocalypse aims to bring the difficult gameplay mechanics of late 90's 2D side-scrollers and combine them with the visual style and themes of our favorite Saturday Morning Cartoons.Trained by his stepdad to fight, shoot and fix nearly anything, Buck can surprise the biggest of brutes by his speed and strength. Traverse the sands of Venganza: a carefully built 2D world with hidden passages, dark secrets and remorseless characters. Destroy enemies with Buck's own hand crafted, upgradeable weapons. Unlock new weapons and combos as you progress. Explore unique levels with branching paths and hidden areas. Earn Scraps and loot unique items to upgrade your arsenal, craft ammunition and improve healing items. Negotiate with the salty denizens of Westown, wayward merchants and mysterious mercenaries, each with their own goal and agenda.*BUCK is an Early Access title and shouldn't be considered a finished product. The game may or may not change significantly over the course of development. Seriously. Unless there is one and I'm still too early.More combos (maybe too early or didn't see more in the menus)A slight adjustment on the roll recovery as you'll roll, turn to the enemy, hit them once, and then get hit unless in a proper spot.Enjoying it so far, hopefully it becomes a full game.. Having now finished what is so far implemented into BUCK, i must say it is everything i hoped it would be. Of course there are many things to improve, for example, the guns felt very underwhelming as i could just punch and dodge my way through most enemies. Furthermore with the guns, when you modify them ( specifficaly the shotguns 3rd barrel mod) it does not change the ingame model, or the model in the item frame, again very unsatisfying. But the voice acting is very good, if not for the fact the quality of the mics some are using are worse than others. And the story right now leaves just quite a good bit to be discovered. I can not wait for more content updates for this game. Thank you for making it, devs!. Poor combat. I know it's still in early access just couldn't even really get into it.I died on the very first mobs. I understand I had to figure out the controls, fighting and such but I got chain locked and died. Their dmg was very high while all I felt I could do was spam attack. Later on it only got worse with multiple enemies. I didn't feel like there was a good combo I could do or if it was a attack and then run away type of game. Weapons didn't do too much damage either. While it's a survival setting game I felt I had to eat any food\/health items I came across just due to the high dmg of the enemies and poor combat leaving me half-dead the entire game. I didn't feel like I just needed to get better at the game, just that the game itself made it impossible too. The pipe weapon was so slow attack speed I couldn't even use it against someone in actual combat, only when they were running up on me. Pistols were practically useless and the buck shot, while cool, still left little impact. Without ammo I felt helpless. The map feature as well took me a little bit to figure out where and how I get anywhere without ever playing the game before. I barely played the game just due to the fact I lost interest in it. Gameplay is a key part of any game after all. I fell to my death a couple of times due to the poor jumping in game. While I don't plan to ask for a refund, as I do want to support such games, I just couldn't get into it. I'll try back in a year or so.. Buck is a fun game and I love the art they had made. Its beautiful. The background is fantastic and all the character are amazing eventhough their animals but they look cute. I cant wait for the full story to finish. And one more thing, why that vulture bird (Grit) is Buck's dad.....maybe hes adopted?? or maybe Buck is his nephew that Buck doesnt know?? Im really hype for this game and I love it. Feels great the creators came back for a year they gone dark. Great to see them back.. Love the game from the start. In my head I cant stop comparing it to Shank with a touch of story telling like in the Sin City movie. Good story and keeps me wanting to keep on playing. It has some bugs and lacking little bit in the combat area, unless you use a controller. It is little annoying with full inventory all the time. Love the artistic cartoon style graphics. All in all a thumbs up. I hope this game succeeds it is realy is a gem. :). Poor combat. I know it's still in early access just couldn't even really get into it.I died on the very first mobs. And I have played a lot of indie games.https://youtu.be/ylWXg6-kgrs. 5 minutes in and i am impressed, the combat is smooth, animations are nice, you have combos, there is a crafting and rpg system, the game is voice acted, the art style is nice. My first impressions of the game are very positive, not bad when you can get it on deal for $5-8.
